Job Description:

The successful candidate can efficiently and effectively manage workload to include competing priorities and deadlines, ensuring on-time completion of activities. The Lead, Global Trade Compliance will investigate reportable compliance incidents to determine if an action or series of actions resulted in a USG trade regulatory violation. Furthermore, for those incidents that resulted in a violation, the Lead, Trade Compliance, will draft a voluntary self disclosure summarizing the incident, the root cause, and the corrective action. This position reports to the Sr. Manager Global Trade Compliance who will provide guidance and oversight over the investigation and disclosure process.

Job Responsibilities:

Draft investigation plans and complete investigations to determine if a USG Trade regulation was violatedDraft and submit for review voluntary self-disclosures to U.S. Government regulatorsDraft and submit for review internal close-out memos for those incidents that did not result in a violationRecommend, implement, and test corrective actions resulting from compliance concernsReview, coordinate and track voluntary self-disclosures and related corrective actionsInterface with internal and external customers in trade compliance mattersAssist with managing the corporate trade compliance program.Provide support to assist with fulfilling the requirements of the Consent AgreementAssist with data collection in preparation for internal assessments, audits, etc.Track and follow-up on corrective actions related to CAVs, self-assessments, audits, etc.10% travel domestically

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.Ability to obtain and maintain US Secret Security Clearance5+ years conducting trade compliance investigation and reviewing voluntary disclosures

Preferred Qualifications:

Proficiency in OCR EASE export administration and licensing softwareExperience working under a Consent AgreementEffective interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interface with personnel at all levels, both verbally and in writingExhibits a high attention to detail, integrity and discretion.Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and SharePointDemonstrated consistent application of company and industry business practices and conceptsAbility to apply U.S. Government regulatory requirements in complex scenariosSpecialized knowledge of multiple areas within U.S. Government regulations and business practicesAttention to detail and follow through on tasks assignedExcellent oral and written communication skillsStrong presentation skills

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Colorado State, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Vermont and New York State is $86,000-$159,500. For California, Seattle, Washington D.C., Maryland Greater Washington D.C. area, the city of Denver, Washington State and New York City, the salary range for this role is $98,500-$182,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.
