Royal Caribbean Group’s Global Talent Acquisition Shoreside Team has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Lead, Early Career Program reporting to the Senior Manager, Early Career. 

 

This role will work on-site in our headquarters in Miami, Florida.

 

Position Summary:
The Early Career team, under the Global Talent Acquisition Shoreside team, is responsible for attracting, retaining, and empowering the next generations of leaders within Royal Caribbean Group. The Lead, Early Career Programs is a crucial role that will manage the planning and execution of all Early Career Programs, including internship programs, rotational programs, and early identification (ID) programs.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Project management owner of all Early Career Programs with focus on creating an exceptional experience. Organize logistics for programs including securing speakers and venues, confirming event volunteers, planning ship tours, and communication to participants. Expand global efforts to shoreside, international offices. Support the Department of Defense SkillBridge Internship Program as needed. Coordinate rotational program assignments with stakeholders and placement post-program. Oversee the onboarding process in collaboration with the Coordination team for any early career candidates, such as pre-employment and technology deployment. Evaluate and improve programs by gathering experience survey data and analyzing the effectiveness of efforts. Equip intern program managers and rotational program supervisors to ensure clarity of roles and responsibilities. Develop and sustain a strong recruiting presence in the community. Assist ongoing initiatives with the Department of Defense SkillBridge Internship Program. Collaborate with hiring managers for onboarding and pre-employment process. Support the Early Career Recruiting team with special projects, related to colleges, universities, community initiatives, etc. Manage internship and rotational program budget as specified, along with budget for ancillary expenses. Facilitate efforts with FIU MOU activities.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration or related field preferred. Must include a minimum of 4-5 years of successful experience in managing programs, preferably within the University Recruiting / Early Career space. Proven ability to interact with individuals at all levels of an organization, from a president of a university to a student.  Must be able communicate across the broad in diverse business disciplines. Expertise in web-based technology and communication tools preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Two to three years’ experience with HRIS system, Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Occasional travel up to 25 percent may be needed.


Knowledge and Skills:

Passion for enhancing candidate experience is essential, requiring a proactive approach to anticipate and exceed expectations. Must have excellent organizational, project management, interpersonal skills and communication skills. Capable of communicating tactfully with external stakeholders, department heads, managers, coworkers and shipboard employees to resolve problems and negotiate resolutions. Knowledge of accepted human resource practices and all applicable laws governing employment and fair treatment of employees.  Working knowledge of computers, internet access, and the ability to navigate within an automated HRIS system as well as variety software packages such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.


Physical Demands:

The employee may move about the office complex, may travel to other office locations and may lift, push, pull or move 20 / 30 pounds. Visual requirements include distant, close and color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
