**About the job**
Join a TI layout group participating in high-speed state-of-the-art analog IC development. Our group designs cutting-edge high-speed Analog-to-Digital and Digital-to-Analog Converters (ADCs and DACs). We are looking for highly motivated new college graduates to work under supervision of our experienced IC development team. Your role will involve various technically challenging and innovative tasks spanning the full cycle of mixed-signal IC physical layout:
+ High quality analog layout of Mixed Signal Devices, including ADCs and DACs in high-speed small geometry processes
+ Assist with floor planning with respect to minimizing parasitics and substrate noise
+ Layout of blocks, inter-block assemblies, top-level routing
+ Simulation of Electro Migration (EM) test benches to achieve EM-clean layout
+ Responsibility for meeting design constraints in layout
+ Responsibility for DRC, LVS & Latch-up clean database hand off for tapeout
+ Strict adherence to project configuration management rules

**Minimum requirements:**
+ Bachelor’s, Master’s or Diploma degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or similar
+ Completed classes/labs in IC circuit design or equivalent industry experience
+ Good tactical and strategic thinking capabilities
+ Very strong sense of ownership while thinking beyond the assigned boundaries
+ Solid teaming skills needed to ensure product differentiation
+ Proficiency in Cadence Virtuoso or equivalent software
+ Effective English written and verbal communication competence
**Preferred qualifications:**
+ Knowledge of additional Cadence design tools such as PVS, Voltus-Fi, VPS VAVO, Quantus etc.
+ Additional software skills such as Electro-magnetic extraction
+ Layout skills in small geometry process nodes
+ Competent user of UNIX / LINUX environment
