We are looking for an Enterprise Sales Intern to support our two Enterprise Sales teams in driving the adoption of PayPal’s full suite of products among our largest merchants. Want to make an impact from day one in the Fintech space and collaborate with leading brands like ASOS, Uber and Waterstones? You’ve come to the right place.
In this role, you’ll leverage strong organizational skills to excel in lead generation, while providing valuable market and customer insights for our Sales executives. Your keen attention to detail will be instrumental in conducting market analysis and preparing impactful sales presentations, both for internal stakeholders and external clients, to support our most significant deals.
Upon joining PayPal, you’ll gain hands-on experience by working across our Frontbook and Backbook Sales teams. This will provide a unique perspective on how our Sales Executives engage with C-Level executives to drive business growth and build lasting partnerships.
Your Day to Day
Defining and implementing lead generation and management processes: track and assess effectiveness of the various lead sources, perform qualitative and quantitative analysis of leads, assist in engaging with merchants that meet Large Enterprise criteria. Actively perform audits of industries, sectors or initiatives across various different verticals creating new sources of lead generation and opportunities for the sales teams. Being proactive in delivering scheduled internal reporting consistently. For example providing information for the biweekly newsletter and creating the sales monthly newsletter. Gathering and delivering information for reporting using key metrics when required. Collating and formatting data requests from the team to use in merchant presentations, meetings and business cases. Manage the sales team calendar with events, stakeholder meetings, planning and development related activities, possible future events, off-sites and quarterly sales kick offs. Cold calling and outreaching to new opportunities or existing prospects to schedule meetings for the Enterprise Sales Teams. Facilitating the onboarding of merchants in conjunction with the Enterprise Sales teams, GPS and CSM functions. Acting as the conduit between these teams to make sure the onboarding goes smoothly, collecting documents including KYC and KYB information. Sales pipeline hygiene: using tools such as Salesforce to ensure the Sales Executives pipelines are up to date.What you need to bring
Knowledge of payments processing, retail and e-commerce is preferable.Strong organizational skills, being able to work within a defined sales process and have effective time management.Being able to work productively in a fast-paced environment while having good attention to detail.Good team player with a collaborative approach to work and be able to create quality relationships quickly, whilst also working well independently and cope with ambiguity.Have a good sense of initiative, self-motivation and willingness to learn.Completed, or be working towards, a degree in a business/commercial related subject with expected grade at least a 2:1Be available for a 12 months internship starting July 2025Interested?
