Large Casting Processor

Eaton’s ES GEIS CHD division is currently seeking a Large Casting Processor. The core hours are 6:00 am to 2:30 pm.  The hourly rate for this position is $19.04 per hour.

What you’ll do:

Perform a wide variety of duties throughout the large casting molding and finishing areas. Duties include: 

Assist the molder, repairing ladles, loading and unloading flasks, bottom boards, and upsets to molding lines Pour molds, shake out molds, operate automated shake-out machine, core knockout, grinding large castings and operating shot-blast equipment Transport materials/metal with either gas operated fork truck or hand truck and operate power sweeper Use all required equipment in grinding such as hand tools, air grinders, air chisels, band saws, etc. to remove fins, parting lines, sprues, risers, gates, surface roughness and all irregularities from castings Place wheels or abrasive belts on machines and make simple adjustments on machines as required Patch surface imperfections within Q.C. standards Refer unusual or questionable situations to proper supervision
 Qualifications:

Basic (Required) Qualifications:

A minimum of six (6) months manufacturing experience. Authorized to work in the United States without Company sponsorship. No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate area of Syracuse (50 miles) will be considered for this position.Skills: Able to read, write, add, subtract, and follow instructions; includes the use and reading of fixed gauges and other instruments not requiring interpretation.Ability to perform considerable physical effort consisting of continuous average and frequent heavy manual effort applied in various ways to perform job requirements.
