Visiting Angels Chadds Ford is currently searching for a Caregiver with Certified Nursing Assistant, Home Health Aide, Direct Care Staff certifications to work in Oxford, Landenberg, Avondale, Laurel Crossing, Lincoln University and surrounding areas.

New Caregiver hire cash bonus of $250 will be paid after 2 months from the date of hiring, if the person works 100 hours within 2 months

Responsibilities of a Caregiver:

Help keep clients’ home clean and clutter-freeAssist with meal preparation, grocery shopping, and other errandsPerform personal care assistance, including bathing and groomingCompanionship and friendship for seniors and their loved onesMaintain communication between seniors, their family members, co-workers, and office staffPerform all non-medical home care services as needed

Caregiver Requirements:

CNA, HHA, and DC CertificationAt least 1 year of hands-on caregiving experience, working with seniors preferredDementia /ALZ care experience is a plusA compassionate, upbeat attitude and love for the senior communityDriver’s license, reliable personal transportation, and current auto insuranceCompleted or ability to have a 2-Step PPD or chest x-ray completedReferences, background checks, and drug screening will be performed
