This position can be based at any of our Boardwalk locations. POSITION DESCRIPTION: The Land Specialist / Sr. Land Specialist, under the direction of the Manager of Land Records, is responsible for coordinating the review and processing of all agreements including easements, leases, office leases, fee properties, deeds, permits, license agreements, renewals, encroachment agreements, gas storage rights, etc. between Land, Operations, Engineering & Construction and Legal Departments. The Land Specialist / Sr. Land Specialist will work closely with the Encroachment Coordinator in managing day-to-day right of way encroachment requirements to ensure all encroachment related tasks are completed timely and accurately. These tasks include but are not limited to receiving and answering emails and phone calls, filing Land documents, assisting in managing and maintaining administration requirements; invoicing; payment processing; notification letters; reporting; and recording of all right of way encroachment agreements in order to preserve and maintain the integrity of all land rights held by Boardwalk Pipelines. The Land Specialist / Sr. Land Specialist will be required to perform right of way document research related to current easement rights and proposed encroachments along the Boardwalk Pipelines system. Additionally, the Land Specialist / Sr. Land Specialist will assist the Director of Land as needed, and as directed, assist Land Department personnel in the various field offices. In the event the position is filled at a BWP location other than Youngsville, LA, the Land Specialist / Sr. Land Specialist will be required to spend appropriate time in the Youngsville, LA office for necessary training and/or meetings.
