Compensation - $62/hourLocation: Houston, TXAssignment Duration: 12 months+Work Schedule: 9/80 - hybrid 3/2Benefits: Comprehensive insurance with 401(k), holidays and PTO Responsibilities Analyses and inputs lease data to ensure completeness, accuracy and consistencyPrepares full and partial releases, assignments and Exhibit A’s for producing propertiesAssists with working monthly calendars for leasesAssists Land Operations as requestedConducts lease/unit reviews for shut-in wells and processes payments, subject to review and approvalIdentifies and tracks contractual obligations associated with lease acquisitions, trades and divestituresAssists within department with special projects including Acquisition & DivestituresEnsures continuous development of leases is accurately trackedResponsible for an area of operationInterprets contracts and leases for all properties, identifying and resolving technical, data-related and process/procedural issuesIdentifies and offers alternative solutions to effectively resolve issues and deliver improvements to processes and systemsProcesses and tracks partner offerings and make necessary updates to recordsResponsible for preparing agreement exhibits, and lease/acreage reports for business units and upper managementMay serve as primary point of contact for landowners and other stakeholders, resolving issues about property status and land administration procedureMaintains affiliations with local/national associations and is an active participant through attending meetings and networking events on a frequent basis Qualifications 5+ years of relevant experience with Bachelor’s degree (strongly preferred)Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and willing to learn other computer applicationsStrong interpersonal and communication skills – both written and verbalKnowledge of Quorum Land System/SAP experience a plusAbility to work under deadlines and sometimes on multiple projectsHandle confidential and proprietary company data and informationAbility to work in a fast-paced team environmentKnowledge of basic land principles and their application with the ability to analyze land data for the entry into the land data management systemGeneral understanding of land terminology, contracts, and their uses with the ability to work on projects of increased complexity under general direction
