ABOUT THE POSITION

VHB is on the lookout for a talented Land Development Civil Engineer to become a valuable member within our Land Development Planning and Design team in Orlando, FL.

Responsibilities

Work within a team of professionals in developing site civil engineering plans and specifications for a multitude of land development projects.Develop engineering plans and specifications in a team environment for a multitude of projects Train and mentor junior staff on technical aspects and policies

Skills and Attributes

Willingness to learn implementation of integrated services projects in a team with multidisciplinary skills.Knowledge of land development construction including codes and development regulationsInnovative design skills to develop solutions to complex projects.Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

Qualifications

BS in Civil Engineering or related degreeMinimum 1-3 years of increasing engineering experience 3-5 years’ experience desiredEIT licensure or have passed the FE Exam preferredProficient in the following: AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Project, MS Office.Experience in developing and compiling/producing site plans, construction documents, specification, and engineering reports
