Land Coordinator

Responsibilities:

Coordinate a wide variety of complex, sensitive, and confidential data on land acquisition and development projectsAssist Land Acquisition Manager with procurement of due diligence work as well as requesting and preparing all necessary paperwork for vendorsCoordinate and facilitate HOA matters including reading and interpreting legal documents and communicating with Association Management CompaniesAssist with the development of professional, informational, and accurate Land Committee submittal packagesParticipate on HOA boards with management oversightAssist with HOA common area turn over process and documentsAssist with DRE, HOA, and CC&R administration for each projectAssist with vendor set up, invoice processing, and approval of draw submittals for land acquisition, land entitlements, and land development vendorsTrack and manage deadlines on multiple projects and milestonesTrack and manage lot takedown requirements with local Division managers and the corporate land teamFacilitate agreements and contracts with third parties and maintain accurate recordsFacilitate communication with multiple departments within the companyMaintain spreadsheets for tracking purposes and regularly disseminate information to multiple people inside and outside the organization, as well as following up as needed to ensure each project stays on track through completionProcess checks and invoices and pay Land Department billsMaintaining general records and other assignments as needed
QualificationsMinimum of three years’ experience in an administrative role and high school diploma. Associates or Bachelor’s degree is a plus.Real estate development or homebuilding experience preferredMust be able to learn software quickly in order to conduct market research and analysis. Prior use of MLS preferredHighly proficient in MS Excel, including the ability to use various tools for tracking and timelines along with general MS Office proficiencyExperience reading and comprehending legal real estate legal documents like deeds, plats, HOA documents, contracts, and closing statementsExcellent written and verbal communication and strong active listening skillsProven attention to detail and organizationAbility to follow-up on a variety of tasks simultaneously and switch from task to task while maintaining focus and priorityShould demonstrate a professional demeanor, positive attitude, and high level of integrity
