Job DescriptionThe Seller Products team is on a mission to expand Visa's reach in payment acceptance across Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC), by empowering Small and Medium-sized Businesses (SMBs). SMBs play an important role in the region, representing over 90% of all enterprises, that are increasingly relying on new payment alternatives. Despite their size, there is still much to be done to better serve this segment. This role is central to Visa's strategy and offers a unique opportunity to significantly impact economic growth, financial inclusion, and the future of digital payments in the region. The team is seeking an inspired product leader to spearhead our initiatives in providing frictionless, low-cost, and easy-to-onboard solutions that enable SMBs to accept payments effortlessly, while fostering their growth with Visa as a valued partner in their journey. To be successful, this leader should be able to launch fit-for-purpose payment acceptance solutions, design and implement suitable economic models, and establish relevant partnerships (both internal and external) for this audience. Responsibilities:
Execution: Create an environment that fosters a continuous focus on customer and market needs, creative thinking, experimentation, and learning. Use metrics-driven approach to test new hypothesis and product initiatives. Encourage teams to fail fast and develop alternate solutions. Develop and communicate a comprehensive product strategy aligned with customer’s needs, Visa business strategy and the unique and fast-changing LAC region
Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams, including pricing, marketing, technology, design, risk and legal to ensure cohesive and effective product delivery, while integrating the team’s solutions into Visa’s broader product portfolio
Strategic Leadership: Be ready to take on leadership of a product team, being responsible for giving guidance, direction, career development, feedback and budget management
Innovative Solutions: Explore and identify new verticals and innovative solutions to accelerate growth in acceptance and constantly enhance the value proposition for SMBs. Collaborate with product leaders in other regions to learn about their market needs and leverage insights, trends, and payment experiences in developing new solutions for SMBs in LAC
Stakeholder Management: Build buy-in from senior executives and key stakeholders (inside and outside Visa) with persuasive storytelling that brings to life the customer's need, business value proposition, and revenue opportunity. Respectfully challenge status quo
External Engagement: Participate in conversations with potential clients and partners to expand Visa's reach and impact in the SMB segment
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
QualificationsBasic Qualifications
10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD
