Direct supervision is received from a supervisor. Direction may be exercised by this class over seasonal and lower ranking maintenance and learning personnel. Typical work activities include: + Cleans and services buildings by sweeping and mopping offices, stairways, halls, etc.; + Assists with outside work such as sweeping walks, cutting lawns, trimming hedges, etc.; + Loads and unloads trucks; + Cleans and performs maintenance duties on buses, trucks, tractors, and tools; + Picks up and disposes trash or soiled linen; and + Does related work as assigned.
