**Job Title: Laborer** **Job Description** The position requires working from 7 AM to 3:30 PM, with a daily start time of 6:45 AM. You will be assigned to various sites around Kansas City and will work on no more than one project per day. Note that 3 instances of no call/no show or tardiness without communication will result in termination. **Responsibilities** + Follow instructions from the project superintendent. + Assist carpenters and other skilled labor when necessary. + Prepare construction sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards. + Load or unload construction materials. + Operate and care for construction equipment and machines such as bobcats and lifts. + Complete non-structural demolition of ceilings, floors, walls, cabinetry, and doors. + Assemble and disassemble structures, such as scaffolding. **Essential Skills** + General labor skills. + Experience with construction and handling hand tools and power tools. + Ability to drive a bobcat. + Ability to walk/stand for 8 hours per day. + Professional communication skills with clients. + Reliable transportation. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Concrete handling. + Packaging and loading materials. **Why Work Here?** Our company offers a family-oriented culture and promotes career advancement opportunities.
