Eurofins BioPharma Product Testing Australia / New Zealand provides contract GMP testing to human and animal pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device and complimentary medicine manufactures, as well as an extensive range of SPF and other cosmetics testing, both in-vitro and in-vivo in accordance with a range of local and international standards. The range of testing includes microbiological and chemistry on raw materials, in process and finished products, complemented by product formulation services. The role of Technician – SPT (Sterile Product Testing) is to perform routine testing under the Sterility Department. This includes but not limited to Sterility testing, LAL testing, ID testing, Antibiotic testing, and Disinfectant testing. The Technician is expected to follow the SOP, directions of the Team Leader and SPT Manager.
Responsibilities for this role will include but are not limited to:
Perform analytical tests as per Eurofins | ams test methods and procedures within the SPT department.Review and check worksheets for completeness and data entry.Working with QA unit to ensure data is accurate and quality control measures are accurate.Performing periodic equipment calibration as specified in relevant SOPs.Data entry of results into eLIMS-BPT.Work with Quality Assurance unit to ensure data is accurate and quality control measures are accurate.Identifying and implementing opportunities in streamlining processes, improving documentation, accounting and invoicing systems optimisations together with relevant parties.Housekeeping, including daily laboratory cleaning and maintenance. Candidates that have completed a BSc (Bachelor of Science) will be preferred.Some experience would be advantageous; however, training will be provided to the suitable candidate.Knowledge of standard office applications, especially MS Word and MS Excel would be preferredAbout you:
