Laboratory & Quality Control Supervisor

We believe in making history._ **MISSIONS** The Laboratory & Quality Control Supervisor oversees the laboratory testing activities and manage the quality control team. This role involves working closely with the watchmaker analyst and the quality control inspectors to ensure the highest standards of product quality. As part of the responsibilities, this role includes : structuring and optimizing processes, managing priorities, inventory responsibilities, and monitoring productivity within the quality control department. Laboratory Testing Management: + Supervise and coordinate all laboratory testing activities including : product analysis, controls and tests execution and test reports. + Collaborate with the watchmaker analyst to ensure accurate and timely test results. + Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance. + Effectively manage and prioritize tasks within the laboratory and quality control teams. + Proactively create new formats and tools. Quality Control & Packaging Supervision: + Lead and manage the quality control & packaging team + Analyze current quality control processes and identify areas for improvement. + Define and implement efficient processes for quality control, including workflow and IT systems. + Develop and implement quality control procedures and standards. + Conduct regular training sessions for the quality control team to ensure adherence to best practices. + Investigate and resolve any quality-related issues or non-conformities. + Effectively manage and prioritize tasks within the quality control team. Inventory Management: + Maintain and manage the inventory of stocks under the responsibility of quality control. + Ensure that all necessary materials and equipment are available and in good condition. Team management : + Build and maintain strong relationships with team members (6 in total) + Develop each individual according to their potential, providing guidance and support. + Animate and motivate the team to achieve high performance. + Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment. + Ensure that resources are allocated effectively to meet needs and project deadlines. **PROFILE** + Master's degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field. + Minimum of 8 years of experience in quality control, preferably within the watchmaking industry. + Strong knowledge of laboratory testing procedures and quality control processes. + Proven experience in process optimization and productivity monitoring. + Excellent leadership and team management skills. + Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. + Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
