Job SummaryThe Department of Cell & Developmental Biology at the University of Michigan Medical School (Ann Arbor) is seeking a part-time Lab Assistant Temp in the lab of Dr. Cai, which studies neuronal circuitry and neurogenesis in the mouse and fly brains.

Responsibilities*The candidate will assume responsibility for the design, manufacturing, and programming of fluidic control systems coupled with automated microscopy.
The candidate will work under the direction of senior scientists in the lab to design and assemble a fluidic control system to automate buffer exchange in biochemical assays. The candidate will also be supervised by senior scientists to develop controlling programs that coordinate fluidic exchange and microscope control to perform on-stage automated buffer exchange on demand.
