Responsibilities
Knowledge of the principles and practices of microbiology, biology, hematology, immunohematology, urinalysis and chemistry.Knowledge of a clinical laboratory as it applies to the collection and processing of samples. Testing of samples, interpretation of results, and the communication of those results to appropriate personnel.Knowledge of laboratory chemical and biological safetyAbility to operate and maintain laboratory equipment
Qualifications
High School diploma or GED Certification as a Phlebotomy Technician (PBT, ASCP)
