Laboratory Assistant

Perform venipuncture and micro collection technique on patients. Functions include appropriately identifying, labeling and processing all samples. The Lab Assistant will comply with all requirements as defined by the laws and regulations relating to Clinical Laboratories from the state of California Business and Professional Code and the California Code of Regulation. Punctual and predictable attendance is a requirement of this position.

Required Qualifications:

upon hire: California Certified Phlebotomy Technician I License or upon hire: California Certified Phlebotomy Technician II License.

Preferred Qualifications:

Associate's Degree With some science classes. 6 months Data entry/computer experience. Experience in a laboratory setting; hospital preferred.
