The Lab Services Consultant acts as a technical consultant for point of care testing in the Hospital and/or Medical Group clinics by supporting the overall operation of point of service laboratory testing and assuring regulatory compliance and quality patient care in all delivery channels.Job Specifics:

Acting as a technical liaison between client and reference laboratories.Promoting and supporting the One Intermountain philosophy.Ensuring improved, system-wide integration of Point of Care policies, procedures, training and competency.Reducing the overall errors through auditing, monitoring, and implementation of quality improvement tools.Effectively using, maintaining and monitoring instrument interfaces and devices. Evaluating new testing methodologies and designing validation and implementation strategies.Developing and implementing a standard quality program, monitors, training and competency program.Maintaining site readiness for regulatory accreditation.
