What this job involves: This role supports both biology and chemistry labs as assigned, performing equipment PMs, upkeeping routine lab maintenance, and keeping designated areas stocked. The position involves collaborating with BMS and JLL colleagues and lab management in maintaining a safe and clean environment.

What your day-to-day will look like:

Performing shipping and receiving duties in adherence to US DOT and IATA regulationsReporting abnormalities and unsafe conditions to lab managementSupporting laboratory equipment preventative maintenanceDefrosting or decontaminating lab equipment as neededPerforming eyewash station testingSupporting and stocking laboratory supplies, PPE, glassware, etc.Consulting with clients on supply chain managementFulfilling glasswash and autoclave requestsCollecting, transporting, and deploying lab coatsManaging reagents and chemical inventoryDocumenting maintenance activities in Client's CMMS systemEscorting vendors throughout secured spacesAssisting in other lab services operations as directed

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Desired or preferred experience and technical skills:

Bachelor's degree in life science, biology, chemistry, or 3 years of relevant work experience2-3 years of relevant experience in a laboratory settingExperience with work order and inventory tracking systems (e.g., Maximo, SAP)Proficiency with reagent management systems and chemical inventory management

Required Skills and Experience:

Experience with general lab equipment, inventory management, and media preparationKnowledge of MS Office suiteExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to prioritize, manage, and organize time effectivelyTeam player committed to customer service and qualityAbility to perform job functions with minimal supervisionPhysical capability to walk, bend, stoop, reach, lift and carry materials up to 50 pounds, and push or pull furniture weighing 50 pounds or more

Estimated total compensation for this position:

48,633.00 – 52,000.00 USD per year

The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
