We are seeking a detail-oriented Lab Pricing Analyst to identify and manage strategic customer pricing infrastructures for lab customers. Candidates must be in or near the Richmond, VA area.

Responsibilities:

Managing strategic and complex customer pricing arrangementsLoad and validate pricing tables for more complex accounts. Incudes Researching, analyzing, and resolving pricing issues, potentially highlighting cost or margin issues that may impact pricingCreating and maintaining pricing integrity per the terms of various Lab Services customer agreementsDevelops customized queries and reports from databases using MS SQL server and other data mining tools. Analyze tables and structure of the company’s databases to establish knowledge of data for accurate retrieval and use in report writingWorking negative margin issues for lab services teamsAdditional project-based work as needed

Minimum Job Qualifications:

Education/Training/Experience  

Degree or equivalent and typically requires 2+ years of relevant experience

Business Experience Skills Required

Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Presentation skillsAdvanced Proficiency with MS OfficeAttention to detail and demonstration of quick follow up to study needs, commits to qualityAbility to work independently under pressure and meet deadlines with extreme accuracyStrong time management and organization skills with flexibility to work in a fast-paced and changing work environment

Preferred Knowledge/Skills

Salesforce or other CRM experienceData analysis and Excel experience (intermediate level)Lab product knowledge preferredEffective time management and multitasking skillsToad, SQL and ability to learn OBI, EDW, E1, JDE & AS400

Working Conditions:

Traditional office environment.Large percent of time performing computer-based work is required.May be required to travel less than 10% of the time
