Lab Intern

Are you looking to start your career in Quality Assurance/Control or related field? Join us as Quality & Food Safety (QFS) intern! We will provide you with an internship to never forget.

 

The internship
As the QFS intern, you will be supporting and closely working with our QA team, that is based in our plants in Amsterdam. You could be involved in local, regional, and global activities, and meet with many of our expertise from the plant. Our company enveloped a broad variety of functions, from food scientists, to sales, marketing, supply chain, finance, IT, and engineering professionals. Joining us will automatically grant you the access to meet them all and get to know the ins and outs of our company.


Gain practical experience: 
Besides supporting and assisting the team on daily QA operations and administration (record incidents, claims, reporting, etc.), you will also get to suggest updates/upgrades to our current quality system procedures. 

 

Not limited to that, you will also have hands on experience on the ongoing projects, such as:

update and upgrade of our HACCP plans, traceability system improvement, actions for MOSH/MOAH risk mitigation, actions for Salmonella risk mitigation, BPS, etc.

 

What to bring to the role
We are constantly rapidly growing and improving. We have exciting initiatives ongoing and there are many more to come. That’s the reason why we are looking for someone with a fresh approach and perspective. Ideally, you are also knowledgeable in the food/feed industry, common quality and food safety certifications, food and feed contaminants, microbiology, and HACCP.

 

We are searching for a person that is proactive, have strong interpersonal skills, and can work in a team.

Advanced English. Dutch is highly preferred, other languages are beneficial. Knowledge of Office suite, especially Excel and Power Point. 3rd or 4th year of bachelor's or master's degree preferably in Food Quality Management, Food Technology, Engineering.
