Position Title Lab and Collections Assistant - Federal Work Study Student Status Work Study Required- You are required to be a Federal Work Study Recipient to hold this position. Work Location Springfield Campus Department Center for Archaeological Research Hiring Range $14.99 / hour Department/Employer Operating Hours Mon - Fri, 8AM - 5PM How many hours per week are required? 8–10 Description of Primary Duties The lab and collections assistant supports the daily operations of the center’s lab and curation facilities. In this function, they may perform a variety of duties including sorting and cleaning artifacts, inventorying collections, digitizing records, basic equipment maintenance, and completing other tasks as assigned. This position is for Fall 2024 with a possibility to renew in the spring. Required Qualifications Basic proficiency with MS Excel is required. Student must be a Federal Work Study recipient.
