Responsibilities Are you a skilled leader passionate about maintaining high standards in a vibrant community? As a Remote, Learning & Development Specialist, you are responsible for assessing training needs, designing and implementing training programs, and evaluating their effectiveness. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Facilitate scheduled instructor-led training for new employees completing their onboarding learning plan and existing employees who require additional training. Deliver ongoing training sessions, workshops, and seminars using effective teaching methods that foster an engaging learning environment, utilizing a variety of instructional techniques such as hands-on activities and technology-enhanced tools. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in learning and development by actively researching new training methodologies, technologies, and tools to enhance existing programs. Review relevant training materials, expectations and requested training deliverables received from the Sr. L&D Director. Create scripting for the appropriate training learning modality and work with identified SMEs to bridge any gaps in understanding or information provided. Review scripting and the appropriate modality with the appropriate Instructional Designer. Review storyboards and provide feedback as needed to the appropriate Instructional Designer. Create and/or update reference guides and manuals as identified or requested. Assess the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, evaluations, and performance metrics, analyzing this data to determine the impact on employee performance and making data-driven recommendations for improvements. Provide one-on-one coaching and support to employees for professional growth, assessing individual development needs and offering guidance and resources to help them advance their skills and careers. Qualifications Anticipated salary range: $70,000 – $95,000 USD per year This range is provided as a general guideline and reflects what we reasonably expect to pay for this role at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary depending on a variety of factors, including the candidate’s qualifications, geographical location, and the specific responsibilities of the role. In addition to salary, this position may be eligible for performance bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off. Final compensation offers will be determined following a thorough assessment of the candidate’s background and the requirements of the position. POSITION REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS: Experience in instructional design, adult learning principles, and training delivery. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field. Certification in training and development (e.g., CPTD, ATD). Experience with data analysis to assess training impact. Familiarity with various training methodologies and technologies.
