Kinney Homecare Delivery Driver
**Overview** **Scope of Responsibilities:** Works under limited supervision and follows standard procedures to accomplish assigned task **Job Summary:** Responsible for the delivery and pick-ups to and from patient's homes as well as the maintenance of the equipment. **Responsibilities** **Job Duties:** + Must comply with all State and Federal laws governing the proper and safe operation of a motor vehicle + Must comply with all State and Federal laws governing the proper and safe delivery of prescriptions to the patient or their agent + Make coordinated deliveries and pick-ups to patients' homes or other designated areas. + Instruct patients on use and care of equipment. + Maintain vehicle properly, i.e., gas, cleaning, tune-ups, registration as necessary. + Assist Marra's Homecare personnel in conducting special projects upon request. + Must become familiar with and remain knowledgeable with Marra's Homecare Policies and Procedures + Assume responsibility for learning set-ups and patient education requirements for DME. Comply with FDA rules and regulations regarding oxygen. + Maintain a high level of product knowledge on all oxygen and DME. + Maintain, clean, and performance test equipment according to manufacturer's specifications + Maintain the manifest, submitting delivery tickets daily. + Responsible for seeing that all paperwork relevant to the position is returned thoroughly completed without errors. + Must wear the required Personal Protective Equipment as per Hazard Communications Policy + Maintain inventory level for repair parts. + Troubleshoot calls for customers. + Provide warehouse functions as needed including shipping, receiving, stocking and order filling + Responsible for assigned evening and weekend on call duty according to schedules. + Honor patient confidentiality and rights. + Adhere to Company policies and procedures regarding exposure control plan, OSHA regulations, etc. + Responsible for completing all mandatory and regulatory training programs + Required to read and sign the Fleet Management Policy + Perform other duties as assigned **Qualifications** **Education:** + Minimum: High School Diploma (or currently enrolled in) or GED **Job requirements** : + Must be 21 years of age or older + Must possess a valid Drivers License in good standing **Experience:** + Preferred: 0-2 years previous experience in related position **Special Conditions of Employment:** + Drug test + Initial and continuous exclusion and sanction/disciplinary monitoring + Any and all additional eligibility requirements based on the specific position **Job Skills Required:** + Basic math skills necessary + Strong communication skills + Outstanding customer service skills + Requires the ability to sit, stand, climb stairs, and walk throughout the duration of the shift + Limited lifting up to 40lbs + Successful completion of a pre-employment and/or random drug screening test **Required Training:** + HIPPA Privacy Course + HIPPA Security Course **Behavioral Traits Required:** + Cooperation: Must work harmoniously and effectively with fellow employees, supervisors, and others you are in contact with + Initiative: Must work within supervision guidelines and assume additional responsibilities + Flexibility: Must be willing to work variable work schedules, assist others as requested and available, and be willing to perform all assigned work + Adaptability: Must respond to new situations in a positive way, accept change, support new ideas, master new routines and grasp explanations, apply current knowledge in new environments and experiences + Involvement: Must enjoy the demands of the job and work with interest and enthusiasm + Customer Service: Must provide appropriate customer service (for Kinney customers, fellow employees, and business partners), listen attentively to their needs, and respond appropriately + Safety: Must take care of equipment and employ good safety habits + Leadership: Must gain acceptance of ideas and accomplish goals through subordinates, peers, and teams + Honesty: Must assure proper delivery and return of all medications **Attendance Requirements:** + Must be available, and on-time for scheduled work shifts **Compensation:** $15.92 - $17.90 an hour The final offer will be determined after careful consideration of multiple factors such as relevant skills, years of experience and education.
