Kilby Labs AI Group Intern – Neural Network Hardware

We’re looking for an expert in neural network (MLP, RNN, CNN, transformer) hardware acceleration to join our Kilby Labs AI research and development team. Our activities span:
+ A variety of internal and external applications of neural networks
+ Ultra high accuracy and ultra low complexity neural network design and training
+ Software tool development for neural network optimization, sparsification and quantization
+ Graph compiler and node library design to map high level networks to low level C code
+ Hardware for high performance and low power execution of neural networks
This role is focused on the neural network hardware portion of our team’s activities.

**Qualifications**
**Minimum requirements:**
+ Currently pursuing a PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering or related degree
+ Cumulative 3.0 / 4.0 GPA or higher
**Preferred qualifications:**
+ Familiarity with state of the art neural network (MLP, RNN, CNN, transformer) designs
+ Experience with the PyTorch deep learning library, ONNX intermediate representation, PyTorch ExecuTorch and TVM graph compilers, and GCC and LLVM C / C compilers
+ Excellent C / C and Verilog programming skills
+ Experience with RISC-V based processor design and customization
+ Experience with hardware design for neural network acceleration
+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills
+ The ability to dream what could be the drive to make the dream a reality
