Kids Club Attendant

The Kids Club Attendant helps in planning and implementing the daily activities for children, helps with safety and assists in maintaining a clean and orderly room and the Kids Club.

Treat each child with dignity and respect.Recognizes and considers the individual needs of each child.Checks medical condition as written in the registration form.Helps children learn to think creatively and respect themselves and others.Open, clean and prepare Kids Club for daily activities.Responsible for the opening and closing of the Kids ClubAssist in planning and implementing the daily program for children.Works to prevent injuries and accidents and handles them appropriately if they occur.Dress kids as needed and change diapers.Organize and store toys and materials to ensure order in the Kids Club area.Sanitize toys and play equipment.Interact with the children in a positive and age-appropriate manner.Ensure that all necessary paperwork is completed as needed within the day.Follow kids club Operation Childcare Standards, Policies procedures, and Health guidelines.Performs other related duties as requested by the Supervisor.

QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent; certification in childcare or related field preferredPrevious experience working with children in a recreational settingStrong communication skills and fluency in English; additional languages are a plusCreativity in designing and implementing engaging activities for childrenAbility to work with children of various ages and backgroundsBasic first aid knowledge and understanding of safety protocolsExperience in organizing and leading group activitiesKnowledge of child development and age-appropriate activitiesPatience, enthusiasm, and a genuine love for working with childrenAbility to work in a multicultural environmentFlexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as neededPhysical stamina to participate in active games and outdoor activities
