Minimum requirements for the role:
A minimum matric is essential for this role. A Diploma/Degree in chemistry or COSCHEM Diploma or related is preferred for the role. Previous experience having managed key accounts within the personal care and or homecare or food or related manufacturing industry is essential for the role. Previous experience having worked on SAP is preferred for the role. Must be a strong team player with the ability to build and foster relationships. Computer literacy with good working knowledge of Microsoft packages is essential. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Managing, maintaining and growing a portfolio of personal care and home care key accounts within the manufacturing industry supplying them with speciality chemical raw materials. Providing forecasts and budgets for each customer portfolio. Achieving budget year on year and growing customer base year on year in terms of volume, revenue and margins. Handling price negotiations at a senior level. Developing new business working alongside the product and technical managers within the company. Providing new product launches and technical presentations at customer’s. Forecasting stock / product requirements for customers on a monthly basis. Assisting the sales team with technical briefs and new product development. Ensuring that customers requirements are met with regards to pricing and stock availability. Salary package, including benefits, is highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
