Key Account Manager West C-Store

Key Account Manager (Western States: CA, OR, WA, ID, NV, AZ, UT, WY, MT, CO, NM, ND, SD, NE, KS, IA, MO, HI) responsible for first line selling and partnering with the Broker Sales Agents for Regional C-store accounts to develop and execute the sales strategy and business relationships for all Company products.  This position reports directly into the Sr. Customer Business Manager - Regional Business.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Build and execute business plans for Key Regional AccountsOwnership of Key Regional Headquarter Convenience Store relationships and sales managementManage and direct the business objectives and strategies with Broker Sales AgentsManage Trade and Sales Budget; assist in collecting unauthorized deductionsIntroduce new products to Regional Headquarter Convenience Store Chains, Distributors, and Broker Sales Agents to ensure there is a comprehensive speed to market plan; Responsible for understanding national market dynamics to recommend products and sales strategyConduct detailed analysis of business trends for each brand to include brand share, pricing, promotion levels and trade class development; Formulate specific actionable plans to address problems and maximize opportunitiesProvide and maintain detailed information to management on expenditure v. sales forecast reports, monthly activity reports, updates, etc. for management reviewManage and supervise promotional plans within the Kantar software program; manage day to day business, as well as % spend and forecast accuracyMust be able and willing to travel up to 50%

 

 

The base compensation range for this position is 75-105K commensurate with experience. Bachelor’s degree required5 plus years directly related experience in the CPG Foods Industry at a Regional Sales Management or Senior Level multi-market Sales Management level requiredExperience managing and influencing broker sales teams is requiredPrior Convenience Store (C-Store) or Food Service Channel Sales experience strongly preferredExperience managing budgetary responsibilities of at least $40 MM is strongly preferred
