Job Summary
The Person hired will be responsible for business development in State Highway segment for Transportation Safety Verticle of Commercial Branding & Transportation Division. The core responsibility of individual shall be building relationship at bureaucracy and head quarter level of ministry, PWD, Key Contractors & Consultants. The individual need to work in getting the specific road safety fund allocation and release of road safety guidelines from department. He need to understand customer pain area's, analyse and develop innovative solutions. Promote 3M innovative solutions with key influencers in State highway segment, contractor and consultant segment. Identify current practise of implementing safety interventions, collaborate with internal team and develop technical proposals to improve the current way of implementation for safer highways in India through 3M solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
* End to end channel & client relationship and Key account management. * Demonstration of products & presentation to top officials. * Conducting seminars to create awareness and differentiation of the products.* Incorporation of product specification in Government schedules and developing circulars to benefit proper implementation. * Shall Demonstrate advanced understanding of customer’s requirement, markets and business challenges. * Develop Opportunity hopper and manage it through Sales Automation tools. * Collaborate with internal team to develop useful technical notes/proposals to end customer. * Map Top Independent Engg/Consultants and conduct technial sessions for these customers.* Develop key account engagement program and drive the relationship building in collaboration with sales team.* Individual Contributor Role.
Qualifications:
1. M.B.A with proven Sales track record. 2. 10-12 years of experience in business development/marketing. 3. Good understanding of doing business with Government Departments like PWD, SMART City and Municipal Corporation etc. 4. Experience of sales to Government Instituions/ Road Infrastructure Projects / Companies. 5. Experience in conducting seminar / Product demonstration for large customer gatherings.
6. Experience in Concept Selling / Specification Incorporation / Tender Generation.
