KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER – NEW ZEALAND!
This role is responsible for managing key accounts, driving new business opportunities, developing strategic business plans, and achieving revenue and profitability targets while fostering long-term relationships with clients and stakeholders.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for the key account management of allocated accounts. Identify and develop new business opportunities through a consultative sales approach. Develop segment specific business plans in conjunction with the Head of Sales (ANZ) to identify and capture new business opportunities within the market. Responsible for the successful execution of commercial development plans in line with the company’s growth revenue and profitability targets. To establish and maintain client relationships from client communication, and coordination, to comprehensive presentation, etc. Responsible for agreed revenue and profitability targets within the business. To increase company reputation and recognition. To collect market information and keep internal coordination between SIG departments. Develop deep long-term relationships with C-Suite executives of leading global organisations. Develop, maintain, and follow up on the business plan and sales targets. Implementation, delivery, and achievement of the sales plan that is aligned with the overarching ANZ Commercial Plan. Provide the organisation with market intelligence, including market and customer activities, changing trends, new technology, and competitor activity. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including suppliers, customers, industry ‘captains,’ and third-party interests, to identify opportunities, threats, and trends in the market. Identify and develop new business opportunities within a designated sales territory. Represent customers and their views through internal communication methods, to ensure a full understanding of the customer’s explicit requirements is understood by the business. Responsible and accountable for agreed revenue and profitability targets. Communicates effectively between the ANZ Commercial Team and other internal business functions across the organisation. Report all commercial communication through call plans and the pipeline matrix utilising the CRM system. Provide ongoing feedback to the organisation on its position as a supplier, including quality, service, and value. Plan and manage customer visits to maximise time, priority, and value efficiency, expect to provide 50% of your time to direct customer contact. Ensure that department communication provides timely and accurate information and contributes to a high level of employee morale and motivation. Manage the resolution of customer quality issues through the internal product NCR system. Prepare, manage, and conclude customer supply contracts successfully. Remain current with the ‘Best Practice’ in commercial management, leadership, communication, operational systems, and technology. Maintain strong alliances with customers and suppliers through ethical and professional practice. Prepare briefings and presentations when necessary. Manage the engagement of internal resources with customers when required. Regular travel requiring flexibility to accommodate ‘out of hours’ arrangements
