Our client is currently seeking to hire a Key Account Manager to be based in Johannesburg
Duties & Responsibilities
New account implementation
Account relationships
Professional development
Project management
Report creation and presentation
Ensure finance department invoices clients timeously and liaise with the client and companies finance department around ageing and other finance issues
Understand the organisations positioning products and services and systems to meet each clients service requirements
Understand each clients needs product relationship etc and ensure an optimal strategy is in place to service each client accordingly
Understand account services management requirements to meet the companies and clients performance measures
Provide professional consulting services to clients to establish strong account relationships customer loyalty and preference and solid account retention
Optimise own account services management performance through development of an acceptable level of knowledge and skill
Manage client programmes efficiently and effectively working with the various stakeholders both internal and external
Pro actively monitor the performance of each account and report any concerns issues etc to the relevant internal department
Requirements
Relevant Diploma / Degree
3 to 5 years experience as a Key Account Manager
Experience with rewards / loyalty / lifestyle preferred
Ability to manage client accounts
Experience in implementing new accounts
Experience in proposal and presentation writing / creation
Experience in analysing programme participation and utilisation data identifying trends and communicating analytical observations
Excellent written verbal and presentation skills to communicate to a broad range of inclient audiences
Proficient in MS Windows MS Office CRM Software
Own transport
May be required to work overtime to meet deadlines if required
Salary Market related based on experience
