The Key Account Manager (KAM) – Clinical Diagnostics is responsible for key accounts in the Clinical Diagnostic/Research Testing and Mass Spectrometry (MS)/Capillary Electrophoresis (CE) solutions market. The role involves developing strategies to drive revenue growth, market share expansion, and long-term customer relationships. This position reports to the Director of Key Accounts & Commercial Excellence and is part of the Commercials Sales located in US and will be fully remote based in the U.S. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: + Develop, implement, and execute annual key account strategies to maximize revenue and market share and manage opportunity funnels, forecasting, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure alignment with account goals. + Develop and foster strategic technical, application, and commercial collaborations with key accounts, provide technology updates and ensure alignment between SCIEX’s short-, mid-, and long-term objectives with customer needs. Leading timely new product introductions at key accounts and ensuring smooth implementation and customer satisfaction. + Execute account growth strategies that drive an increase in share of wallet and overall revenue and gain a deep understanding of market trends and account-specific growth plans, driving short- and long-term strategic initiatives. + Support local sales teams on specific sales opportunities and ensure overall strategy is executed successfully, and advocate for the customer across the organization, working to meet and exceed their expectations + Collaborate with internal teams such as Legal, Finance, R&D, Strategic Marketing, Sales, Service, and Customer Support to ensure the timely execution of customer-specific product developments, contracts, and projects. The essential requirements of the job include: + A minimum of 10 years of experience in the Clinical Diagnostic/Research market and with at least 5 years of proven capital sales and/or Key Account management experience. Strong understanding of the mass spectrometry market, including trends and emerging technologies with Clinical field, is highly desirable. + In-depth technical experience and understanding of mass spectrometry and associated workflows is a must. + Knowledge of Capillary Electrophoresis (CE) technology for large molecule characterization is a plus. + Extensive experience in large account strategic selling processes and a proven track record in contract negotiations (including MSAs). + Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills, with a demonstrated ability to engage at all levels of an organization, both regionally and globally. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay. We offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
