Job Description

As an Administrative Coordinator, you will be responsible for processing and verifying shipping documents, providing customer service, scheduling appointments, and performing other clerical/administrative duties. Attention to detail will be key for this position. ResponsibilitiesMaking telephone calls and sending emails to centralized customer serviceBooking delivery appointments via phone and emailBilling of accessorial/additional fees as requiredMaintaining group email boxes and answering queue calls when requiredReceiving calls from drivers who are not delivering freight for specific reasons, logging and noting comments in prosScanning, photocopying, and faxingOther administrative duties as required, which could include pulling reportsAuditing shipping documents for accuracy, correcting, and reporting to supervisor as neededUnderstanding Federal Transportation Compliance documentation and reacting to and reporting non-complianceEssential SkillsData entryTransportation administrationLogisticsCustomer serviceProficiency in Microsoft Office ProductsAdvanced communication skillsAbility to work under deadlines in a high transactional, fast-paced environmentTeamworkAbility to work with little supervisionAdditional Skills & QualificationsMinimum of secondary education, with preference for post-secondary education (completed or currently enrolled), or a combination of education and experiencePrevious transportation or operational experience is preferredExperience with AS400 is considered an assetExperience with Word, Excel, and Proof of DeliveryExperience within warehouse environmentsWork Environment

The working environment can include extended periods of sitting at a workstation, working on a computer or phone. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and intense visual concentration over 70% of the time. The working environment can also include noise coming from the loading docks. The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 11:30 am to 8:00 pm. The position is transit accessible. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
