Duties and responsibilities related to the Junior Sommelier role
Assist in the storage and rotation of wine inventory, maintaining optimal conditions for aging and serving.Provide personalised recommendations and guidance to guests on wine selection, ensuring an exceptional and memorable dining experience.Participate in regular wine tastings and educational sessions to enhance your understanding of wine.Support the culinary team in developing and refining wine pairings for seasonal menus and special events.Assist with the organization and execution of wine-related events and promotions within the hotel.About you
WSET 2 is required, and experience in a similar role within a fine dining establishment or luxury hotel is highly desirable.
