Your Impact

We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Software Engineer to join our dynamic teams in Cluj R&D site.

This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about software development, eager to learn new technologies, and thrive in a collaborative environment. You will work closely with experienced engineers to develop, test, and maintain software applications that contribute to OpenText’s innovative solutions.

What the role offers

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement software solutions.

Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.

Assist in debugging and troubleshooting software issues.

Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.

Work with Agile development methodologies and contribute to sprint planning.

What you need to succeed

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

0-2 years of experience in software development (internships or projects are a plus).

Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, or JavaScript.

Basic understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.

Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.

Knowledge of databases (SQL/NoSQL) and cloud platforms is a plus.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
