Junior RF Engineer

We lead the design and development of next generation air, ground processing, and space payloads. We have the corporate investment, infrastructure, subject matter experts, and strategic focus to enable you to be successful in airborne and Space-based programs within the Innovative Aerospace and Design division of Special Mission Technologies. 

We are looking for a Junior RF Design Engineer to work with DoD/IC customers, and our Special Mission Technologies team, to design, build, and test RF/Microwave systems & subsystems that will be used in systems ranging from Ground to Space.  Successful candidates will have basic knowledge of  RF product design from concept through test.  Our Engineers work to turn concepts into reality. 

 Produce design concepts and solutions for various RF systems. Produce RF designs. Work with systems engineering to develop specification compliant designs . *

This is what you will need\:

1 years' experience in Electrical Engineering and knowledgeable on RF Design Engineering. Basic background with designs such as Receiver/Exciters, RF Arrays, or Radar subsystems. Basic Knowledge in at least one RF design area such as passive designs, LNAs, PAs, Mutli-Chip Modules, or Low Phase Noise Oscillators.  Knowledgeable on microwave simulators utilizing 3D or 2.5D solvers such as Momentum and CST. Knowledgeable on Circuit design utilizing modern RF software (Genesys, MWO, or ADS). Ability to bring new ideas & concepts to the Team and the Customer. Bachelor's degree minimum.

Preferred\:

 Knowledgeable on systems ranging from HF to Ku Band.  Knowledgeable with Altium schematic capture and layout. *
