Job Summary:We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to join our QA team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and functionality of our software products. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for quality assurance and a desire to grow their skills in test automation.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and Maintain Automated Test Scripts:Write, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.Collaborate with the development team to understand application functionality and create effective test cases.Test Planning and Execution:Participate in test planning, test case design, and test execution.Identify, document, and track bugs to closure.Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD):Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure continuous quality checks.Work with DevOps to ensure test environments are properly configured.Quality Assurance Processes:Follow established QA processes and best practices.Contribute to the improvement of QA processes and tools.Collaboration and Communication:Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.Provide clear and concise test results and reports.
Qualifications:
Education:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Experience:0-2 years of experience in software quality assurance and test automation.Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).Basic understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile/Scrum.Technical Skills:Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C#).Knowledge of SQL and database concepts.Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).Soft Skills:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Detail-oriented with a focus on quality.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with performance testing tools.Familiarity with BDD/TDD practices.Understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
