Junior Project Manager

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Identify and analyze problems.
- Evaluate and recommend resolutions.
- Identify deficiencies and make improvements related to processes and activities within the overall scope of systems project management.
- Document project and performance management processes.
- Gather data using established procedures. Prepare reports using established baselines.
- Create process documentation and training materials.
- Maintain knowledge library and documentation of system operation procedures.
- Track, and communicate risks and issues.
- Gather data and prepare reports to support the administration of project and program review activities.
- Participate in meetings to address needs of project stakeholders; develop trust, credibility, and strong client relationships; seek opportunities to add value to internal and external client initiatives.
- Perform activities of the project in accordance with MAXIMUS established policies and procedures.

Minimum Requirements
- Entry Level position within field.

- Bachelor's degree and 0-3 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- Works on problems of limited scope.
- Follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained.
- Builds stable working relations internally.
- May have additional training or education in area of specialization.
- Solves routine problems of limited scope.
- Limited use and/or application of basic principles, theories, and concepts.
- Individual contributor representing the most common entry point for this career stream.
