Junior Project Engineer (Process Plants) - Isando

A National Diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
2-4 years of hands-on experience in project engineering, ideally within capital equipment or process industries.
Construction of SMPP Mining Process Plant experience.
Key Requirements:
Technical Engineering: Prepare and maintain project documentation, including drawings, specifications, schedules, and reports. Contribute to technical excellence of the project in engineering deliverable development. Equipment specifications, adjudication and selections in line with project requirements, quality and budget. Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution, particularly at construction/assembly phase. Conduct regular fabrication site visits and inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed. Proven experience in project engineering, preferably in the capital equipment or process industry. Strong technical background with knowledge of engineering principles and practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with suppliers and team members. Solid organizational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Continuously finding new ways to innovate to improve performance and streamline project engineering.
