Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior People Business Partner to support our growing People function in the Czech Republic. This role will assist in key HR initiatives, take ownership of specific operational responsibilities, and contribute to enhancing the employee experience. The ideal candidate will be passionate about HR, eager to learn, and capable of managing multiple tasks within a fast-paced environment. Solid knowledge of Czech labour code is a must for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
1. HR Operations & Support:
Assist in the implementation and management of HR services, systems, and processes across the employee lifecycle.Support compliance with HR governance, including compliance and privacy standards.Share responsibilities with the People Operations team to ensure operational excellence including HR administrative tasks, documentation, and record-keeping2. Business Partnering & Employee Support:
Partner with HR teams in Brno and Prague to ensure alignment with the overall HR strategy.Assist in advising managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.3. Employee Engagement & Culture:
Support engagement initiatives and programs that drive a positive work culture.Contribute to change management efforts to enhance organizational effectiveness.4. Employee Relations & Compliance:
Support employee relations matters, including assisting with grievances and dismissals.Ensure adherence to employment laws and company policies in the Czech Republic.Stay updated on HR best practices and suggest improvements to policies and procedures.Assist in HR reporting, metrics tracking, and audits as needed.5. Exit Interviews & Data Analysis:
Conduct exit interviews with departing employees.Analyze exit interview data to identify trends and areas for improvement.Provide insights and recommendations to improve employee retention and engagement.Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.3+ years of experience in HR, preferably in a generalist or HR support role.Solid knowledge of Czech Labour Code is requiredKnowledge of HR principles and best practices.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a multicultural environment.Proficiency in HRIS systems, preferably Workday, and Microsoft Office SuiteFluency in English and Czech is required.Why Join Us?
