Job Description:
This is what you'll do:
- Review and revise (under attorney supervision and direction) non-disclosure agreements based on the Client form as well as forms received from third parties.
- Review (under attorney supervision and direction) third party comments to Client's standard terms and conditions and other corporate agreements.
- Review (under attorney supervision and direction) initial and revised drafts of third party quotations, proposals, agreements and terms and conditions.
- Assist attorneys in the drafting, revision and organization of agreements with third parties and related documentation.
- Structure and organize data rooms, executed contracts, policies and procedures, and other documentation.
- Complete or assist on special projects on an as-needed basis.
- Work together with the other members of the legal department to prioritize items, highlight ongoing issues and create "lessons learned" documents.
This is what you'll need:
- Must have a college degree.
- At least three (3) years of paralegal (or similar) experience working on corporate and contracts matters preferred.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced startup environment and be self-motivated to take ownership of tasks assigned.
- Strong interpersonal skills, along with the ability to communicate effectively with others at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work independently and with cross-functional clients.
- Willingness and desire to learn new subject matters and skills.
