The role:
Reporting to the NPD Product Manager, the NPD Technologist (Brand/Co-pack) will develop NPD and EPD in order to deliver the budgets (volume, GM/L and EBITDA) for Refresco UK.
Working as part of a team to deliver projects based on company priority, the NPD Technologist (Brand/Co-pack) will have a specific focus on our Branded products and will support our Co-pack customers and their requirements.
 
Key responsibilities:

Drive new product development (NPD) and enhance the current range by researching commercially viable opportunities, improving quality, profitability, and sustainability.Manage NPD/EPD projects from concept to completion, ensuring compliance with legal standards, category requirements, and internal/customer deadlines.Collaborate with internal teams, including the Brand Team, and support co-pack projects by advising on technical requirements and liaising with customers.Build strong customer relationships to establish Refresco as the preferred supplier while staying informed on market trends and competitor launches.Ensure successful product launches by providing required data, documentation, and hygienic sample preparation.Maintain up-to-date records of all development activities and support sensory evaluation panels to meet product quality standards

About you
We are looking for candidates with experience in NPD or laboratory work, and some experience delivering NPD projects from concept to launch, and excellent communication skills. A degree in science, food science, or a related field (or an equivalent qualification) would be beneficial.
