Hire Resolve’s client is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Junior Millwright to join their team in the Steel Manufacturing industry in KwaZulu-Natal. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery and equipment to ensure the smooth running of our manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and repair machinery and equipment in the manufacturing plant Perform routine maintenance and inspections on machinery to detect and prevent issues before they occur Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems Ensure all equipment is operating safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety regulations Collaborate with other team members to improve processes and resolve technical issues Work with a sense of urgency to minimize downtime and maximize productivity

Requirements:

Trade Certificate as a Millwright or equivalent Trade Certificate 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, in the steel industry Familiarity with mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics Knowledge of maintenance procedures and best practices Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Willingness to learn and grow within the organization
