Minimum requirements:
Matric certificate (essential) Tertiary qualification in Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field (advantageous) Previous experience in the tourism or hospitality industry Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Flexibility and adaptability with a hands-on approach Leadership potential and the ability to manage and motivate a small team Willingness to work weekends and public holidays
Key Responsibilities: Assist in overseeing the daily operations of the guest house Supervise and support staff to ensure exceptional guest service Handle guest bookings, reservations, and inquiries Oversee check-ins and check-outs, ensuring a smooth guest experience Maintain high standards of cleanliness and room readiness Assist in managing budgets, inventory, and financial reporting Contribute to strategies that increase guest satisfaction and improve bookings
