About this role

A  well-established Manhattan based architectural practice with over fifty years of professional design experience is looking for a highly motivated, creative and well-rounded architect who is experienced in design and construction documents for School Construction Authority (SCA) projects.  This is contract-to-hire position.  It starts on a contract basis and, based on performance, an offer for full-time permanent employment will be extended.

Key responsibilities

Assist in preparing and coordinating the design development and construction documentations on a range of exciting projects Develop presentation materials Some experience with construction administration, including submittals, RFIs, site meetings is a plus.

Skills and Experience

Accredited Architecture degree (Masters or Bachelors) 3 years of professional experience minimum Ability to handle fast-paced projects Detail oriented with strong analytical skills Excellent communication and organizational skills  Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD, Sketchup, Creative Suite
