The opportunity
We are currently seeking professionals to strengthen our Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) team. Our FAAS team consists of a group of experts who’s day-to-day activities exist in supporting fast growing companies to take the next step. In this dynamic environment, we help companies prepare their financial statements (standalone and consolidated) as well as any other financial reports for Management or Group Reporting purposes. Next to this, our team offers technical accounting advice to different entities. Large, multinational companies as well as financial institutions, e.g. Banks, count on our teams to analyze how major transactions would influence their financial statements. Your key responsibilities
The nature of this role means no two projects will be the same. You will provide accounting advisory services encompassing support in the implementation of new accounting standards, advice to clients -including financial institutions- or teams on complex accounting matters; improvement of reporting processes such as fast close and business intelligence projects; GAAP conversion and implementation; on call financial reporting advice; accounting/reporting processes and controls support assistance. That means you need to think outside the box, be creative and solutions oriented, challenge existing practices and be adaptable to change. As you build your knowledge and experience, you will become a credible advisor, influencing clients and engagement teams on resolutions that will impact entire industries.

To qualify for the role, you must have
Up to 2 years of working experience in consulting / audit services in relevant positions or a financial accounting/reporting role Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or any quantitative degree. Good understanding of accounting logic and ability to research IFRS technical issues Results-oriented approach with keen attention to high quality and accuracy and distinct willingness to learn Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Excellent written and verbal communication in Greek and English Flexibility to travel in accordance with client and other job requirements both locally and internationally (travelling is subject to Covid-19 limitations).
Ideally you will also have
Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or any quantitative degree. Professional accountancy qualification or working towards gaining one (ACCA, ACA, CFA, SOEL)
