Requirements:
Matric certificate Tertiary qualification in agriculture will be an advantage Fully bilingual (English and Afrikaans) . Excellent communication skills Valid drivers licence First aid level Training and good knowledge of health and safety compliance Minimum of 3 years’ experience in stone fruit or similar agricultural operations. Strong work ethic, interpersonal, and communication skills. Proven management and leadership capabilities. Effective project planning and monitoring abilities. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining organisation and discipline. Commitment to continuous improvement, learning, and striving for excellence
Duties for the Hospitality Manager will include, but are not limited to:
Manage orchards, gardens, vegetables, animals, game, maintenance, and overall business aspects of the farm. Oversee day-to-day activities to ensure productivity, sustainability, and preparedness for guest arrivals. Develop and implement farming practices aligned with permaculture and organic principles. Stay open-minded to innovation, testing, and evolving farming techniques Hands-on management of fertilisation, pest control, irrigation, livestock, and game. Mechanical proficiency in tractors, spray systems, and general equipment. Manage small improvement projects on the farm Provide leadership and guidance to staff, ensuring effective delegation, support, and performance management Maintain accurate records and prepare comprehensive reports on farming operations
