GENERAL SUMMARY Junior Experience Designers work closely with the Experience Designers and report to the Associate Creative Director of Experience Design within the Creative Department. At Team One, Experience Design does not end with the screen. As an integrated agency, we work across all business channels for clients like Lexus, allowing us to produce holistic and integrated campaigns, of which your work will be a part. You will play a supporting role in developing and enhancing the look and feel of digital experiences for high profile clients. You will be counted on to contribute - alongside the Experience Designer - to brainstorming and sketching sessions, wireframes, low and high-fidelity prototypes, flows and diagrams. A successful candidate will have a portfolio demonstrating clean visuals and user-friendly interface design, a strong understanding of usability heuristics, fluency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, and an understanding of accessibility principles and front-end coding languages. Key strengths are a knowledge & passion for user experience, technology, and design, with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement – curious and flexible. Experience with adaptive and responsive design and a mobile first philosophy is a plus, as is experience in a both agile and waterfall development environments. **Responsibilities** ­­Day to Day: 1. Contribute to user research/usability activities, including surveys, contextual interviews, user persona development and usability studies 2. Create wireframes, flows, and mock-ups to effectively communicate content, interaction and design concepts 3. Work closely with clients and internal team to translate business objectives into meaningful interactive experiences 4. Advocate for the best user experience throughout the creative and development process 5. Create interaction design for web-based applications 6. Create low fidelity visual design for web-based applications, based upon interaction design specs 7. Create thorough, detailed documentation for developers and visual designs 8. Conceptualize, communicate, and iterate creative solutions to design challenges using lo-fi and hi-fi mockups 9. Advise on social engagement strategy related to the products you are designing **Qualifications** Experience: 2+ years proven experience providing strong UX design while delivering the best user experience for internet, kiosks, mobile, etc. Knowledge of major social platforms, and understanding of how users engage with brands on them Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred. Skills & Abilities: + Ability to concept, design, and justify complex user/process flows, sketches, heuristics, wireframes, click-through demos, prototypes, site maps, interactive elements, information architecture maps or other supporting UX documents + Experienced in storyboarding and user persona development + Skilled with expected wireframing/architecture tools such as Figma & Sketch + Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite as a whole, particularly InDesign, Acrobat, Illustrator and Photoshop + Working knowledge of HTML/CSS/JavaScript + Some agency or design shop experience **Additional information** Our Publicis Groupe motto “Viva La Différence” means we’re better together, and we believe that our differences make us stronger. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met.
