Junior Engineer (VLS In-Service Engineering Agent (ISEA)

Precise Systems seeks a Junior Engineer to support the STANDARD Missile In-Service branch with the following ISEA tasks: Event Mitigation, Tactical Operations, Test and Integration, and SM-3 Sustainment Duties: + Solid electronics background and experience in digital and analog hardware design at the system level. + Analyze new initiatives, new technologies and best practices to incorporate new engineering developments. + Review design documents, drawings and reports, and develop technical data, scripting, filming and editing for ‘tech tube’ development for the MK 41 VLS, MK 57 VLS, other Launching Systems, AUR maintenance and handling operations, and ATE operations and maintenance associated with any of the weapons/launching systems + Prepare inputs and comments. + Provide technical and Life Cycle Support to WSI/FI, various Launching Systems, and canister Integrated Product Teams (IPT), special advisory boards, off-site and on-site working groups, and audit teams. + Provide technical services to technical interchange reviews, teleconferences, project meetings, and program level reviews, test plan working groups, mission control panels and flight readiness reviews. + Prepare technical recommendations. + Investigate in-service operational and maintenance issues for Naval combat systems. + Prepare a technical investigation report. + Provide engineering, technical, and logistics support services including participating in IPTs and related technical meetings. + Prepare Meeting Minutes + Coordinate presentation materials for meetings in support of program reviews and sponsor data calls. + Prepare and update presentation materials. + Provide technical support in the development of program plans, cost estimates, schedules, and action items. + Prepare Program Management report. + Prepare Key Events Schedules. + Prepare status report for action items and schedules Required Education: + Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering Discipline (mechanical, electrical, etc) Required Experience: + 0-2 years’ experience in engineering design and testing Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Compensation at Precise Systems is determined by various factors, including education, experience, skills, competencies, and contract-specific requirements. The salary range for this position is $56,028.64 to $102,135.96 (annualized USD). This range represents the standard pay for this role and is just one component of Precise Systems’ total compensation package.
